Dragi Podstranjani i podstranski gosti,

pozivamo vas da i prve kolovoške večeri provedete uz naš bogat program. Bit će to večeri vrhunske umjetničke glazbe i poezije, likovnih radova te, naravno, zahvalnosti i sjećanja na naše branitelje.

U četvrtak, 1. kolovoza u 21:00 dođite u Ljetnikovac Cindro. Tu će nas u perivoju ljetnikovca, svojim virtuoznim izvedbama opernih arija i dueta počastiti sopranistica Mia Domaćina Topalušić i tenor Vjekoslav Kaštelančić uz klavirsku pratnju Vjekoslava Babića.

U petak, 2. kolovoza u 21:00 na Portu u Svetom Martinu organiziramo Ribarsku noć. Glazbeni dio programa pripada Rišpetu. Gastronomski užitak i zabava zajamčeni!

U subotu, 3. kolovoza opet smo u Ljetnikovcu Cindro gdje u 20:00 započinje naša tradicionalna – ove godine 28. – kulturno-umjetnička manifestacija „Dobrojutro, more“. Predstavit ćemo knjigu Maria Tomasovića „Pjesnici Podstrani“, razgledati izložbu „Perunika“ Likove udruge „Ante Kaštelančić“ i uživati uz glazbu našeg gitarista Petra Čulića.

Manifestacija „Dobrojutro, more“ nastavlja se i u nedjelju 4. kolovoza ispred Čitovnice u Gornjoj Podstrani. Počinjemo svetom misom zadušnicom u 19:30, a u 20:00 nastavljamo s likovnom izložbom „Posvećeno moru“ Likovne udruge „Ante Kaštelančić“. U sklopu pjesničkog dijela večeri, kojeg će upotpuniti glasovi klape „Praska“, u 20:00 proglašavamo ovogodišnjeg laureata. Čestitajmo zajedno!

U ponedjeljak 5. kolovoza slavimo Dan pobjede i domovinske zahvalnosti i Dan hrvatskih branitelja. U čast vitezovima Oluje u Strožancu se održava plivački maraton pod nazivom „Podstrana u čast vitezovima Oluje“. Maraton počinje u 16:30. Dođite i bodrite naše natjecatelje!

Istog dana navečer u 21:00 na Šetnici hrvatskog branitelja Vladimira Vukovića Vate nastupit će Miroslav Škoro, a kao predgrupa Miro Boem i Aritmia bend. Svakako nam se pridružite na ovoj veličanstvenoj proslavi! Napominjemo da je sav prihod ovog humanitarnog koncerta namijenjen potrebama Centra za odgoj i obrazovanje „Juraj Bonači“.

We invite you to spend the first evenings of August with us and enjoy our rich programme. Experience high-quality music and poetry shows, art exhibitions, and a special tribute to our war heroes.

On Thursday, 1 August at 9:00 PM, join us at the Cindro Summer Residence. In the garden of the residence, we will have the privilege of enjoying operatic arias and duets performed by soprano Mia Domaćina Topalušić and tenor Vjekoslav Kaštelančić, accompanied on the piano by Vjekoslav Babić.

On Friday, 2 August, at 9:00 PM in Porat, in Sveti Martin, we have prepared a Fishermen’s Night. The musical part of the programme will feature a performance by klapa Rišpet. Culinary delight and fun guaranteed!

On Saturday, 3 August, we are back at the Cindro Summer Residence, where the 28th edition of our traditional cultural and artistic event “Dobro jutro, more” (“Good Morning, Sea”) is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM. This event is going to feature a presentation of Mario Tomasović’s book “Pjesnici Podstrani” (“From the Poets to Podstrana”), the exhibition “Perunika” (“Iris”) by the “Ante Kaštelančić” Art Association, and a performance by our guitarist Petar Čulić.

The event “Dobro jutro, more” is set to continue on Sunday, 4 August, in front of Reading Room in Gornja Podstrana. It will start with a memorial mass at 7:30 PM, followed by the art exhibition “Posvećeno moru” (“Devoted to Sea”) by the “Ante Kaštelančić” Art Association at 8:00 PM. During the poetry segment of the evening, accompanied by the voices of the klapa Praska, we will announce the name of this year’s laureate at 8:00 PM. Come and join us in offering congratulations!

On Monday, 5 August, we celebrate Victory and Homeland Thanksgiving Day and the Day of Croatian Defenders. To pay tribute to the veterans of Operation Storm, a swimming marathon named “Podstrana u čast vitezovima Oluje” (“Podstrana Pays Homage to the Heroes of Operation Storm”) is scheduled to take place in Strožanac. The marathon is set to begin at 4:00 PM. Come and share your support!

Later that day, at 9:00 PM, on the Šetnica Vladimira Vukovića Vate (Promenade), a concert by Miroslav Škoro will take place, with Miro Boem and the Aritmia band as the opening act. Be sure to join us for this grand celebration! Please note that all funds raised from this benefit concert will go towards supporting the “Juraj Bonači” Centre for Education and Rehabilitation.
