The best Croatian islands to visit

After you have unpacked your suitcases, rested, and made a plan of what to visit in Podstrana, we advise you to add one of our beautiful islands to your list. Although territorial not so large, Croatia is truly an oasis for hedonists, and lovers of history, architecture, nature, and gastronomy. It has more than 1,200 islands and rocks, so it is sometimes difficult to choose where to go. To begin with, we suggest you visit the islands located “across” from Podstrana – Šolta, Brač, Hvar, Vis…

Although summer is everyone’s favorite time to visit the islands, you can visit it during the whole year and enjoy the paradise scenes without the crowds. The city of Split is excellently connected to most of the islands, so wherever you want to go, you can quickly go by ferry or catamaran. In case you don’t want to organize a trip on your own, during the summer months numerous local and other agencies organize one-day trips to one or more islands (island hopping).

Throughout Podstrana, you will surely see spot stands selling excursions, and for more details, feel free to contact us.
