On Saturday, June 13, 2026, starting at 7:30 PM, the Vladimir Vuković Vata Promenade will host the traditional event “Greeting to the Peach” (Pozdrav Praski).
This unique celebration is dedicated to the peach, a fruit that has played an important role in the history and identity of Podstrana and remains a valuable part of the local heritage and tradition. Visitors can enjoy a pleasant gathering while discovering the customs and cultural heritage of the area.
The event is organized by the Municipality of Podstrana, the Podstrana Tourist Board, and the Podstrana Branch of Matica Hrvatska.
