This year’s series of Fishermen’s Nights in Podstrana concludes on Saturday, August 29, at Grljevac Beach, with the programme starting at 6:30 PM.
The food and drink stands will open at 7:30 PM, offering fish specialities and refreshments. From 8:00 PM, there will be a programme for children featuring mascots, activities and photo opportunities.
At 8:30 PM, the traditional 500-metre night relay race will begin, followed by the announcement of the winners and the presentation of trophies and prizes. Team registrations are open until August 28 at +385 99 473 68 82 (Antonio).
From 9:30 PM, Mjesni Odbor will take the stage for the final Fishermen’s Night of the summer. The programme will also include a tombola, with tickets distributed by girls dressed in traditional Poljica folk costumes.
